Our Story

Founded in 1975

DOMS Industries Limited, as we know it today, was founded in 1975 by two visionary individuals, Late Shri Rasikbhai Raveshia and Late Shri Mansukhlal Rajani. A pioneer in stationery manufacturing, we are committed to operational excellence and providing superior value to our customers and trade partners, as our founding principles.

We launched our flagship brand, “DOMS”, in 2005, which has taken large strides in revolutionising the Indian stationery and art-material industry. This was followed by a strategic partnership in 2012 with F.I.L.A. — Fabbrica Italiana Lapis ed Affini S.p.A, Italy — enabling access to international markets and augmenting our R&D and technological capabilities.

We later acquired Pioneer Stationery Private Limited. In 2023, we acquired a minority stake in ClapJoy Innovations (toys) and a majority stake in Micro Wood Private Limited (tin & paper-based packing material) — deepening backward integration and broadening our product offering.

It was the vision of our founding fathers to transform R. R. Industries from a pencil manufacturer into a leading stationery brand. Since 1976, our leaders brought innovation to the stationery segment by expanding operational capacity and strengthening the distribution network.

Individual Promoter, with the Company since incorporation. Leads new product development, crafting, and go-to-market strategy.

Whole-time Director

Individual Promoter, with R. R. Industries since 1985. Leads production and product development of scholastic and fine-art materials.

Individual Promoter overseeing the Jammu manufacturing facility and the Company’s wood seasoning and treatment operations.
